Important Information About Our Delivery Service

We strive to make deliveries on the same day or the very next day. Please specify exactly where on your driveway you would like the product dumped and notify us if your driveway is less than a year old.

  • Payment

    • Credit card over the phone
    • Cash/check upon delivery (drivers do not carry change)
    • We do not accept Amex

  • Ordering a Delivery

    • Usually able to make deliveries on the same day or the very next day
    • Please describe exactly where on your driveway you would like the product dumped
    • Notify us if your driveway is less than a full year old

  • Dumping Instructions

    • Dumping in driveway is up at the house end unless otherwise specified
    • Use right or left side as you look at your driveway from the street
    • Whenever possible, please leave a marker such as a barrel or cone
    • Large deliveries may block driveway access or spill off driveway area
    • We will not dump off the driveway area without someone there for liability reasons
    • Driver has final say
    • Dump trucks may not fit in narrow areas
    • Low overhead wires and tree branches may also affect the delivery area
    • Safety is our primary concern

  • Where We Will Not Dump

    • Over a wall
    • In the street or cul de sac
    • Over curbing, especially granite
    • Across a neighbor's driveway or yard without express written consent

  • Off-Driveway Delivery Waiver Form

    • You are being directed to this waiver because you have requested an "off-driveway delivery"
    • We deliver products in driveways only, unless this waiver is signed, agreed to, and returned to us prior to your delivery being made
    • In all off-drive deliveries, our drivers have the final say if a delivery can be made safely, no exceptions
    • Trucks used to make our deliveries are quite heavy, ranging from 15,000 lbs to 35,000 lbs without being loaded with product
    • Certain lawn situations are quite dangerous, and our trucks can become stuck, sink into the ground, doing extensive damage
    • When the truck's dump body goes up into the air, the lower edge also goes closer to the ground, so we are unable to dump over stone walls
    • Another risk is low power lines; when the truck body is up in the air, it can be upwards of 15 feet tall
    • Trucks need a minimum of 9 feet in width to be able to dump safely
    • If you, the purchaser, as stated below and signed by you, order deliveries off the driveway, the purchaser assumes all liability for damage done to sidewalks, sprinkler heads, septic systems, or any other property and agrees to indemnify K & K Mulch and Loam and its employees against all liability
    • K & K Mulch and Loam assumes no responsibility for damage done to property when delivery is made off the purchaser's driveway
    • If our truck becomes stuck, the purchaser agrees to pay all costs associated with towing if needed
